Carp Stocking
On Monday 3rd December a stocking of carp was made at Horton Kirby. The new arrivals were placed into the Western Lake were they will stay until they have grown on to at least low doubles at which time they will be transferred to the Westminster and Viaduct Lakes.
141 carp of between 2lb to 5lb were photographed and stocked. Here is a small random selection of the new stock, I am sure you will agree they are some stunning looking fish which will be enjoyed by all who are lucky enough to catch them.
The Western Lake now holds around 300 carp.
Please not that under no circumstances are any fish to be moved between lakes without the permission of the DDAPS committee.
