An 18-acre lake set in a 36-acre site at Hildenbourgh in Kent. The lake was created after gravel was extracted from the site 20 years ago. The water level fluctuates from summer to winter, with an average summer depth of 12 – 13 foot, increasing to 16 – 17 foot in winter.

When fishing at Bennetts you may encounter the farmers wife walking round the lake with her working sheepdog. She is our neighbour and has permission to do this by the committee as she and her husband keep an eye on the venue for us. Their names are Liz and John and I would ask you all to be courteous to them both.
