There are four lakes plus a section of the River Darent. As you enter the fishery, the lake on the left is Westminster, the lake on the right is Viaduct. If you continue to walk between the lakes you will come to the Western lake. The Silt pond lies between the river and Westminster lake.

Carp Stocking

On Monday 3rd December a stocking of carp was made at Horton Kirby. The new arrivals were placed into the West Lake where they will stay until they have grown on to at least low doubles at which time they will be transferred to the Westminster and Viaduct Lakes. 141 carp of between 2lb to 5lb were photographed and stocked. There are some stunning looking fish which will be enjoyed by all who are lucky enough to catch them.

The West Lake now holds around 300 carp.

Please note that under no circumstances are any fish to be moved between lakes without the permission of the DDAPS committee.
