To apply for membership you can download an application form here in word document form or here for a PDF version or write to the address on the Contact page enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope. Please do not phone. (Members can only recommend one new member per season).

The Society has around 3,000 members. 2,200 of these are Gentlemen, Ladies and Juniors (age 12 to 16). The other 800 are made up of other categories.

There is a one-off joining fee for the first year only. New members will also have to pay a refundable £50 key deposit should they wish to fish our enclosed waters (Horton Kirby, Sutton at Hone and Bennetts). This will be refunded should you decide to leave the Society and return the key to the office.

Should any existing member be unlucky enough to lose their key the above ruling of paying a refundable £50 key deposit for a new key will apply.

A concessionary rate for Senior Citizens shall be available to members reaching the state retirement age, provided that they have been a full member for at least 5 consecutive years.
