Glyn Thomas, I was fishing the Viaduct lake at Kirby, midway along the west bank. I was float fishing with maggot, and it was a perch a cast for some periods during the day.I hooked one fish and within seconds the rod went solid, about 20 mins later I landed a 13Lb pike and managed to net it in a 14 landing net.Luckily, I had my unhooking mat with me.A pretty lucky capture as my size 20 hook to 4lb line was in the outer part of the scissors, so escaped the pikes teeth. 18.11.21
