Last year (2010) DDAPS had a survey done by Dr Bruno Broughton after discussion with our anglers over their concerns that our lakes were not fishing well. The survey revealed that our main lakes had very little natural food which
Junior members are allowed to fish overnight at Horton Kirby, Sutton at Hone and Brooklands Lakes from the 1st June – 1st October with a parent or
guardian, providing that the parent or guardian is a member of the Society
1) No pike fishing before 1st October on enclosed waters (lakes and pits)
2) Braided line must be used, minimum 20lb breaking strain for live/dead baiting and lure fishing (spinning) this is to insure line breaks are avoided.
